Wayne0 382 #1 Posted January 3 I had my 520 snow machine in the garage today for maintenance and noticed the blower doesn't sit flat on the floor. Right side is a good 1" higher. I don't see any adjustment for that. Straightened out one of the impeller blades. I didn't know they were so soft! I also noticed the PTO bell is cracked! I guess that's on the "to do" list. I have done the same several times with my mid 1970's Ariens 24" Sno Thro. Picking up a chunk of ice can do that - if they were hardened, they would probably break... Dangerous Blower may sit crooked when raised but should always sit flat when lowered ALL the way. Uneven air pressure in the rear tires will cause the frame to sit crooked and therefore the blower too. Too strong of a spring could lift the right side ( assuming we are looking at it from the seat.)

Like to make up for some slop in the Tach A Matic connection. Probably check that area too
