WHX??

FYI fellas the gasket that blew was one that came in the gasket set. Didn't have the fire ring around the inside. New one does.

@WHX?? should that be any excuse??  🤥. 😂😂😂

I see it on the blown gasket Pict and wondered why @Achto drive a simple non reinforced gasket in a modified Engine,

so a blown headgasket is nothing unusual on such high Loads.

Aaaaaahhh ooooooOk, that means it is still in it‘s „burnin phase“. 😂😂

But it lasts allready 4 Pulls - that’s not bad for such a simple Gasket - 👍

i see plenty of more potential in this Engine, still in Non Turbo Version 🤐🤪😇😎😂👍

Looks like a pulling tractor to me! :handgestures-thumbupright:

Head gasket is luckily an easy fix. Not a bad result for the maiden voyage of any tractor puller I'd say.

You know when you're pretty sure that a surface is HOT, but you just can't help yourself from touching it to be positive??

It was kind of like that.

Lesson learned....again.:D

Yup! LOL

This was a 12" X 3/16 drill bit and only grabbed it at the base to loosen the chuck a couple days ago. The carbide tip wore right off on rebar or something as I was pushing on hammer drill for a little bit. ALMOST THERE! LOL

Seared and actually puffed a little smoke off the fingers too. I thought it would be hot,  BUT not that hot! LOL

Did the exact same thing with a large uni-bit at work yesterday! Drilling out centers to run the Milwaukee circle punch cutter....went to unchuck and YOWZA quick sear on my palm where it lapped over the chuck end and touched the bit. Musta been really hot!

My 953 was doing that a few years ago at Jim's plow day. Last year I brought some bungee cords to pull it but never had a problem. Even if the trans is good still not a bad idea to have it!

Yup, looks good.  Maybe some sort of rope, string, or cable on the pin would be a good idea in the case of fumble fingers?
