leabassett@sbcglobal.net 151 #1 Posted January 1 Is there a way to keep the lift arm up some. I rigged mine so I do not have to reach too far forward to grab it.
wallfish 17,079 #2 Posted January 1 A solid link to the plow frame instead of using any chain will keep it from going all the way forward
ri702bill 8,492 #3 Posted January 1 (edited) Looks like you have an early 300 series WITHOUT the height adjust for the lift lever..... adding one is a huge benefit... Edited January 2 by ri702bill

Racinbob 11,207 #7 Posted January 2 In 1984 I purchased a GT-100 new and it didn't include the Dial-A Height but there was an add on kit available which I purchased. It included the circled items as well as a tunnel plate with the cutout but you could modify the plate you have. I doubt you'll find the kit anymore but the parts are out there. The parts remained the same through the years.

The holes for the assembly are under the console plate already, you can get a plate for it from Lincoln or cut out the plate you have. I did my 312-8 a couple of years ago for less than $100 and a little over an hour, just remember that lift adjustment is not for you deck height.

Exactly the parts I was referring to..... and it is a true bolt-in procedure. This mechanism is a HUGE help if you plow snow from pavement onto the grass - allows you to skim over the grass, not rip it up.... Bill

I added one to the 312-8 I refurbished for my son.
