hodge5 16 #1 Posted December 26, 2023 Years ago, I was really into Wheelhorses, and I was a member here. We lost our 17 year old son in a car wreck, and for unexplainable reasons that grief brings, I sold everything that I had (lots of memories were wrapped up in those Horses). I bought a Kubota B7100 to do my chores. My father had a Workhorse GT1600, which I have now, so I'm no longer void of a Wheelhorse. It runs and mows, but needs minor attentions. However, what brought me back to Red Square is a Steiner that I'm buying. It's an original condition, low hour (1300) S20, with an Onan B48G in it. It is in great shape, and I would like to keep the machine original and in top condition. So, I figured that this would be a great place to source information and advice on the engine (if needed). I have not stopped appreciating Wheelhorses, so I am also glad to be back for that reason. 3 1
Sparky-(Admin) 21,850 #2 Posted December 26, 2023 Sorry for the incredible loss you experienced. Glad your back and if you wanted your old account back or merged that can be done. A fresh start with a new account is fine as well.

hodge5 16 #11 Posted December 27, 2023 Thanks, guys. I appreciate the compassion and welcome. Horse Newbie, great looking 1600! Mine is tucked away in the barn, but I'll get a photo or two when I can pull it out. It runs, but the petcock leaks and the tank drains out. I have a new one, just haven't messed with it yet. One day, it'll look as good as yours.
