JoeM 7,873 #1 Posted December 22, 2023 Putting together an attachment that uses an existing, mounted, Wheel Horse snow plow frame. The plow and turn handle is removed via the 3/4" swivel bolt. The attachment is simply slid into place and attached using the 3/4" bolt. This unit incorporates a front plow frame anti sway attachment. The anti sway attachment can be left on the plow for either the blade or bucket to stabilize the front during use There is a short video using it to dip a some stone. I tested my hydraulic lift with 300 lbs. and it worked good. If there is enough interest, I was thinking about putting together 3 for the show in June. You will need your own plow frame. wallfish 16,994 #2 Posted December 22, 2023 (edited) Nice! I've discussed this with a few members on here over the years about doing a small basic bucket on a plow frame. Kind of like a "Po man's" bucket type of thing since most would like a FEL but don't really need all of that, whereas a small tilting front bucket would be plenty useful and adequate. Sailman 1,291 #7 Posted December 23, 2023 Nice job! I built a similar "garden bucket" for my GT 14 using ATV bucket and linear actuator. Its good for about 300 lbs. too. Bucket just dumps but considering adding an actuator to the bucket too. Works fine for my needs and under $1000. Having that powered lift is key, weather its hydro or linear actuator Here is mine at work after having a tree cut down and stump ground out.
