The filling keeps the bead out towards the rim. Our first attempt at fluid filling was about a year ago for my C160 Automatic Tractor. 23 x 10.50 x 12. Should have held 7 gallons. We used tubes. Started with new empty still flattened out tubes. We kept relieving the air from around the stem. Managed to get 8 gallons in one, just less in the other. The fluid was actually under a little pressure when we were done.
