Ed Kennell 38,145 #27 Posted December 16, 2023 Make sure the ground is on a good clean metal surface as close as possible to the point you will be striking the arc. Path of least resistance ya know. Truth be told Ed I kinda wished I woulda had to go that route if nothing else to sharpen my welding skills. I can't toss the required 100 arrows a day to keep my bow skills up to date and goes even more for my welding skills.
