Sounds excellent and looks good besides. I have a Commando 8, and it's one of my favorite tractors.  :text-bravo:

This video is the second run with minimal load on  engine except the short ride I did with about quarter throttle.

Nice work!! :handgestures-thumbupright: :handgestures-thumbupright:

Unlike an engine that has an oil pump, it is best to run your rebuilt K-model Kohler at 3/4 to full throttle for the first 5hrs. Even better if you can put some load on it. Mower deck, mold board plow, trailer full of weight, etc. This is the best practice for seating the rings on a splash bath oil system. Change oil after a 5hr break in, then every 25hrs after that.

Achto: Well this kit that I showed in the post is not the best, meaning I am sure Kohler metal is much better than this. It just looks cheap, but I only youse  this for light duty. I can ride it more up hill to put a load on it. Thanks for the post.

Thanks rjg854. I like it also easy to move around and very lite with those cub rear tires on it. Hard to beat a K Kohler engine.
