What have I got please?

Bought my first Wheehorse and the vendor said it was not a 518-H and thought it was a C-180 but that does not seem to exist. There are no plates/stickers for either machine or motor. HELP please.

Looks like a 1974 or 1975 C-120 8 speed. Has the extra belt cover for a tiller or vacuum.'

Missed that picture with the shifters.

Not a hydro - it has a hi/low range lever, making it an 8 speed.  Big block in it, making it a 12, 14, or 16 horsepower. A no name maybe?

Any chance for pictures of the serial number plate for the tractor (probably left hand side of dash support) or the number plate on the engine?

Not enough head bolts to be a 16 HP, could be 10, 12 or 14 though.    Looks like a 1975 C to me.

Good chance this was sold as a Raider between1973 and 1975. A few have been recorded so look for a SN in the file title.

The Raider ended for the North American market in 1972 but continued in Europe.

I think that is a Belgian 74, because it had no ptobrake on it!

B100,C120 or a Raider 12( like me) from 74!

I think C120 and Raider 12 are exaktly the same this year, my 1-0353 is decaled Raider 12 in Belgium, but C120 in USA!!

Either way @Kev_the_Mole you have a great idea what to look at for parts.  Most these models had very small differences.  Headlights, options, standard options, etc.  get you the difference.  Pulleys, gaskets, etc.  will all yield the same results.  Enjoy it for what it is, a mystery!

Finally found a sticker that wasn't fully painted over. It's got a Kohler K241S, which according to the PDF manual I have means that it's a model C-105. It's like industrial archaeology.

Your tractor is definitely not a C-105. The C-105 was made in the early eighties, your tractor was made in the early to mid seventies. Here’s my C-165, the same body style as a C-105. Good luck with your tractor!

Nope Kev, a C-101 would have the gas tank under the seat. That started in 78 with the C-1_1 series.
