Kev_the_Mole 21 #1 Posted December 5, 2023 Glad to be here. Got my first Wheelhorse and have been looking for one for ages. Lot of questions to ask but the first one is how do I delete a profile I set up earlier but never used? Cheers, Kev

I got a 'bitsa' as we call it. Bits of this and bits of that. It came with 518-H hood stickers but is a six forward and two reverse manual box. Has a single cylinder Kohler motor and no VIN/identification plate. Closest I've come up with is a C160. I'll post up some pictures tonight. 2

oliver2-44 9,755 #10 Posted December 5, 2023 "Bitsa" I like that. Wheel Horse parts are so universal fit over the years. Sometimes a "Bitsa Mutt" is the best one to have.
Kev_the_Mole 21 #11 Posted December 5, 2023 Some pictures as promised. No motor plate or chassis plate can be found
meadowfield 2,570 #12 Posted December 7, 2023 welcome to the group! from the pics, I'd say a 1975-77ish C-160 8 speed. Steering wheel is from Oevel, air filter size is 16hp. It's got the wide belt cover for the tiller. God knows why they put some 500 series hood decals on!
Mickwhitt 4,625 #13 Posted December 8, 2023 Welcome Kev, there are a few of us over here in the UK so you will not be all alone. Looks like a pretty complete machine, what do you plan to do with her? Full restoration or get her working for her keep. Mick

Both my Fergies are too big for the orchard that needs grass cutting. I’m not the one on the 135. It’s a neighbour of mine who I can’t keep off it! cheers, Kev
Kev_the_Mole 21 #15 Posted December 9, 2023 Finally found a sticker not spay painted over. It's a K241 motor so according to the PDF manual it should be a C-
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,045 #16 Posted December 10, 2023 That engine was used in the 1976 B-100 models with 8-speed. The hood ornament was not on the 1976 North American models.

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,045 #18 Posted December 11, 2023 There may be a Kohler serial number below the decal and behind the solenoid. That would date the year of manufacture
meadowfield 2,570 #19 Posted December 12, 2023 According to my model list, that will have been sold as Either a Raider 10 or C-100 - maybe even a B-100 if it was a friday afternoon job! Model number should be 1-0390 or 1-0391 its a 1974/75 model I think and that engine has the right numbers - I've sold some decal sets for them...

Anglo Traction 761 #21 Posted January 15 A belated welcome to the forum Kev. You are one of several members down in Dorset. I tend to agree with the 'Ball Park' dating of your model by other contributors. 74-75 is my guess. As GWest says, the Serial number should be behind the 'Non Original Solenoid'. From what I can see from your pics, the front wheels look like pre 76 as they run closer to the Axle King Pin housings. It's post 73 as it has 2 foot pedals and Pto Clutch frame and lever operation. By now I presume you have all the info/manuals you need. If not, just ask.

Have a picture of one of my sons and his sister playing with their new old mower on Boxing Day. As he's volunteered to mow the orchard I told him it's name was Rudolph hence the red nose and antlers
