RED-Z06 2,243 #1 Posted December 4, 2023 Ive heard so much good about the stuff being used in so many applications, it repels and doesn't emulsify with water, its a grease until it starts moving then its like a heavy oil.. Wonder if it would work in a unidrive?

Im not sure, it seems like its an excellent climbing lube for staying on gears, my only concern really is would it get the axle bearings. https://youtu.be/7zNhli-J0Gk?si=8CBXe-Cl3-AOmDLN 1
squonk 41,291 #7 Posted December 4, 2023 I bet it would be a bear in cold weather. Let the clutch out and engine goes BLEAH!
pfrederi 17,856 #8 Posted December 4, 2023 I use corn head in my Brush hog. It is a lot more expensive than good old 90w
953 nut 55,734 #9 Posted December 5, 2023 Several years ago a fellow had a Unidrive with a plexiglass window in the top of it. It was operated by an electric motor and running rather slowly but the 90 weight gear oil was slinging all over the place. I would be afraid the Corn Head wouldn't get to the upper gears and the outer axle bearings. 3
