MSBiker 46 #1 Posted December 1, 2023 Looking for a good source for decals for my 1967 Lawn Ranger. Found some but the price is kinda pricey and not a vendor I have dealt with before. Any recommendations?

D_Mac 8,619 #6 Posted December 1, 2023 @Vinylguy by far has the best quality decals and is one of the nicest guys to work with. He has made me sets for many different tractors and bikes and boats even !

pfrederi 17,739 #9 Posted December 2, 2023 (edited) Are you sure the Ranger is a 1967.. My L107 Father bought in 1967 only had the WH emblem decal no Lawn Ranger spelled out Edited December 2, 2023 by pfrederi
MSBiker 46 #10 Posted December 2, 2023 I am making the assumption because the owners manual I have is dated 1967. As you can see from the photo it has a full set of decals along the engine cover. Anybody got another way to date these tractors?
D_Mac 8,619 #11 Posted December 2, 2023 (edited) Should be an ID tag on it. It's on the left hand side, side of dash tower. I know I had a 1966 and it did not have " Lawn Ranger " spelled out on the hood. Edited December 2, 2023 by D_Mac

Three spoke steering wheel and decals on the hood definitely make it a 1968 model.

Probably the original tires on the front and possibly the rear as well. The seat is in remarkably good shape. ’68 was the last year for the “round hood” style from WH. The larger models had already gone to squared off hoods in ’65 but the LR kept it for four more years. Yours looks like model 1-1631 (recoil start). The 1-2631 was electric and recoil. Nice find. Enjoy! Edited December 3, 2023 by Handy Don
