@Joe leonardo, is this starter/generator off of the same tractor as the 1969 Charger 12 identified in one of your earlier posts from today? If it is, a 69 Charger originally  doesn’t have a starter/generator system. Which may indicate there has been an engine change. At any rate, the s/g wiring is fairly straight forward. The voltage regulator on top of the s/g will have 3 terminals out front and one underneath it. The terminals out front are stamped; L, BAT, & F. The L term. is for any electrical load you have like lights or a cigarette lighter. The BAT term. goes to the ammeter (if equipped) or to a positive + battery source, (sometimes at the ignition switch) The F term. connects to the F terminal on the generator. The generator has two terminals on it with one stamped F next to it & the other stamped A next to it. The A terminal on the generator connects, with a small wire, to the terminal underneath the regulator. The A terminal on the generator also has a heavier wire attached to it that goes to the ignition switch or a push button switch used for starting. The s/g also needs a good negative - frame ground for everything to work properly. -JD-

I posted in another of your threads that you fist need to let us know what ignition switch you have. If it is the one pictured below then this diagram will work.
