Str8rayzor 3 #1 Posted November 25, 2023 My dad is rebuilding a 1970 c-125 auto for someone and can't seem to figure out the correct hydraulic fluid to use. I've searched quite a bit myself and also can't find a straight answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
ebinmaine 67,515 #2 Posted November 25, 2023 The C Series 125 should be a 1980. Do you have any pics to show what you're working on? If it's a 1980 C125 Hydro it should use motor oil.
953 nut 55,246 #3 Posted November 25, 2023 A Wheel Horse transaxle should have 10-30 motor oil and while you are at it replace the filter with a NAPA 1410 or WIX 51410.

peter lena 8,629 #6 Posted November 25, 2023 @Str8rayzor agree with @ebinmaine on the rear fender base set up ! to me would be a perfect time to , get some operational run time on every area . done a carb bowl drop / inspect / clean out ? engine oil status ? condition ? like ROTELLA 30 WT , and RISLONE zinc, those engines really respond to clean running , and varnish cleaning , got a roller stool to cruise around that ? check out how things work / makes things easier . looks good , pete
