I’m sure give her a rock and a string, she’ll be making bows and arrows in no time!  Hell toss her in a tree and let her ride one to it’s death!

 More than normal in fact.

Our area is deer dense, so to speak.

The flora and fauna is just about perfect for them 🦌🦌

We just don't take the time to hunt.

Got the turkey roasting and pumpkin pies ready. I love this day. I wish everyone good cheer and plenty to eat. I love leftovers, and we always have too much, so some of the leftovers are going to a local charity this year. 🦃

Nether are any good for my gout, especially venison. I do take take meds for this but it doesn't take much of deer meat to disable me.

Hunted and ate a lot of it when younger. Good sport and a good time. My mom cooked everything we killed and the food was amazing.

My wife would make a Salisbury steak recipe with venison and beef gravy. No stove top prep just baking in the oven at 350, Outstanding.

The recipe below has to be one of my favorite. Corn stuffed meat. Yummy.

We are having a turkey breast today, just the right size and there will be no leftovers.

Now I am getting hungry.

Hmm, :eusa-think: Every one of my friends who have or have had gout are hunters. Might there be a connection?

It's not for everyone, I was raised in a hunting family.

Trina too.

We'd do it but for lack of time for the classes and certifications and prep etc.

Not saying you aren't right but almost all my family and friends eat venison a lot and I can think of only one that had gout. That according to him was from sea food.

If all of a sudden we start developing gout, we'll hunt you down😁

We have our fowl in hand and are heading out the door to our 'kitchen in the woods'.

We are continuing a tradition that we started three years ago, cooking the bird in a reflector oven in our 20 acres of woods  on the site that we intend to build on.
