RideRed 0 #1 Posted August 20, 2009 hello to all, i love this site!! when i was a kid my dad's (and mine) first riding mower was a horse. and he still has it... the deck went ka-put a few years back so he recently aquired another one... now i'm so jealous, he has two and i got zippo. all i have is a crappy troy built bronco. at least it's red, right... so since mine is about worn out, i've started looking for something cast iron with class. i really like the "hot rod" look of the suburbans, but i'm a big guy so i might look like a gorilla riding a tricycle. who knows. i just want a classic horse. i'm a mechanic by trade so restoring one appeals to me greatly. i look forward to digging through all the great info on this site. thanks!
