8ntruck 6,998 #1 Posted November 13, 2023 What are you folks using for conditioning/waterproofing your work boots? My work boots are leftovers from my days in the wheel plant where steel toed safety footwear was required. There was enough oil, coolant, die lube, etc in the plant environment that boot conditioner was not required. Since retirement, those work boots mostly see occasional outdoor work. I was wearing them while working in our woods this week and noticed they are looking like they want some sort of treatment. I suppose some Lucas Red & Tacky would not hurt them...... Ed Kennell 38,130 #2 Posted November 13, 2023 This is what I use. Bear grease is good if you can find it and don't mind being followed by the varmints.

Skwerl58 704 #6 Posted November 13, 2023 I have been using mink oil also. There are lots of "recipes" for boot conditioner and water proofer online that use bee's wax and other natural oils.
