Wheel horse attachments

I have some of my dads old wheel horse attachments, tractor is long gone.  Would consider selling but I have no idea what they are worth.  Any thoughts or leads would be helpful… Not sure about the working condition of the bucket but the tiller works fine.

The tiller looks like it was for a D series machine . Do you know what your dads tractor was? Would help determine value if we knew what the attachments fit.

You need to pull them out and clean them, also take better photos and include any model number tags in photos.  You are sitting on some rather valuable pieces and they deserve some effort to market them correctly.  When ready, list them in the classified with prices.

Guessing D250. I remember it having a 19 HP motor and hydrologic drive. I’m guessing a 60 inch mower.. late 70’s early 80’s is the right time period

Rear bucket and sub-frame for the loader also look D series to me. But that loader with a new sub-frame can fit on others

The tiller is going to be more "D specialized" but lots of Ds out there

Not a D guy but more likely a D200 than a D250. D250 were German made tractors and a whole different animal

 

Loader $1200-$1800  Guessing because the new tractor if it isn't a D would need a hydraulic pump and supporting gear plus a new sub-frame. The right D guy would be excited to get both attachments

The 3rd picture is the front end loader sub frame that mounts under the tractor and weight box that mounts behind the tractor.  both go with the front end loader in the 2nd picture. 

On the front end loader the condition of the cylinders is a big part of the value.  The cylinder seals are replaceable.   But if the chrome rod part of the cylinders is pitted with rust, their not worth repairable.  One or two small pits can be filled, but a lot of  pits and their toast.  Replacement cylinders can be bought for less that the cost of replacement rods. 

 

The same goes for the steel hydraulic tubing lines. surface rust is cleanable. but pits with a little depth are a no go. The

    You have two valued "D" attachments.       Great advice above.

    I'll just add, you are only about 3 hours West of the Big Wheel Horse Collectors Club show that is held every year on the weekend after Fathers Day.       A lot of Wheel Horse equipment is sold in our classifieds over the winter and delivered and picked up at the show in the spring.

Thanks again for picking that up for me! I think I paid 350 for it, I've seen them selling for double that. All depends on how bad someone wants one, they work great and are not that easy to find.

The D-250 has a 10-speed manual transmission.

The tiller is definitely a D160, D180,D200 tiller The D250 attachment method is nowhere near the other method. Leads me to say the loader is for the same D series also.
