Worried about rim thickness to tire ratio.   🤔    mainly fronts.    I think rears will be ok.   I know it's hard to tell on smashes tires until you get them mounted.

You might be able to get wider front rims from a later model Horse.

Or possibly consider a trailer hub conversion.

Trailer rims are available 8" or maybe even 10" wide.

I'm trying to keep it narrow.    I don't like the front axle sticking out wider than the rear.

I got them mounted and installed.   All in all very happy with the looks.

We have Ags on 8.5” rims on the rear of the 518-H++ build which has a swept front using 16x7.50-8 tires. The outside to outside front track is 3+ inches wider. After we have more experience with the performance as it’s set up now, we’ll decide if spacers or wider rears are needed.

As usual the internet is wrong for my application.    82 and 83" belt are too small

I've got to space the hood hinge up a bit.     Since the belt didn't work I decided to go ahead and upgrade the pulleys.   They should be here this week.

Pulleys lined up and installed.    Had to space the idlers out a bit but they are good by straight edge.    I'm sick so that's about all I got done today.

Cool looking horse you've got there. I also like the tire combo.

Would you mind putting some pics and info of the tires in the "let's talk tires" topic?

Added the same extra flat idler on my 520-H a few years back. Works great! No more flapping belt!

Excellent idea.

@BairleaFarm I've saved that post for future reference.
