For Brian Badman you can "mention" his handle @76c12091520h Or send him a PM. For Lincoln you want to look in the vendors section. Get his phone number. CALL him. Don't text. Don't email. Use your old fashioned voice function.
Colby G 233 #55 Posted December 14, 2023 So after doing the transmission swap and buying a transaxle input pulley, I figured out the transmission isn't from a charger 12... Could someone tell me what tractor it came off of so I can get the right pulley? I'm thinking it's a gt-
Colby G 233 #56 Posted December 16, 2023 If the transmission I put in the charger 12 is from a gt-14, could a 13hp engine power the 14hp hydro? If not, could I fit a 16.5hp twin under the hood of the charger 12?
pfrederi 17,856 #57 Posted December 16, 2023 (edited) The Sunstrand hydro unit WH used was the same for 10 12 14 18 and 20 horsepower just some external linkage difference and later ones were piston to piston instead of Hydro gear but all could handle the various HPs. daveoman1966 3,758 #59 Posted December 17, 2023 This pump shaft wants a pulley with a FLAT side...maybe even an older 'Double D' style pulley. I don't think the pulley shown above is right for this pump shaft....as it uses a Woodruff KEY WAY SLOT. To me, these are NOT compatible.

The pulley you show with the KEYWAY slot does appear to match part # 7446.... the Electro 12 1-7251. I can't find the pulley that would fit the flat-sided shaft of the pump you've posted. GT-14 used pulley #8144 but the only picture I could find showed a round bore with keyway
gt14rider 795 #63 Posted December 18, 2023 The transmission 90 2062 was only used on the GT14. From what I've found there was three different pulleys,1st was round with keyway, 2nd double D and 3rd was splined i can only find 2 p/n#
gt14rider 795 #64 Posted December 19, 2023 @Colby G there should be a tag on the finned housing. The tool box is in the way. If you can read the numbers you know what transmission you have.

Colby G 233 #68 Posted December 19, 2023 That pulley is pricey, but if that's what I need I will defenetly buy it. Are you sure that's what I need? That's a transaxle input pulley, right? Looks like a dual pulley.
pfrederi 17,856 #69 Posted December 19, 2023 The outer smaller pulley was used to run the roto-tiller attachment

gt14rider 795 #74 Posted December 20, 2023 There is a Id# on small cover, you may have to remove the tool box to read it.with out that # it's hard to tell. Are your axles 1 1/8 ? Take off hubs how big are the keyway in the axle. If thay are chance's are it's a gt14.
