I think the closest Wally World is  close to 40 miles away from me. I wonder if any WH could drive that far without shutting the motor off? Wonder what the distance a tank could run me is? So many questions. 😬🤔🤪

I am about 3.5 miles from town.  Last year we drove the Senior and a 953 to town for a parade, then home.  I carried extra fuel and was very surprised that we never needed any fill ups for the day!

At @stevebo’s M&G he organizes a 5+ mile loop on a bunch of beautiful back roads. Takes well over an hour with stops for hobnobbing and whatnot! Only a couple tractors needed fueling enroute.

I rode my ’68 LR one year and the 854 another year both did the loop on about ⅔ of their 1 gallon tanks (stock pulleys, top gear, full throttle!) so I’m guessing their range is 7-8 miles.

So roughly I’d need to take a full 5 gallon gas can and make about 5 stops. Yikes! 😂

I had a dream about going on a bike rally last night.  I am barely man enough to hold my bike, wife and my butt up off the pavement.  When we used to do 100-200+ bike rides, it blew my mind how much booze flew out those establishments.  Yeah, I’ll have a Shirley Temple on the rocks!

One of the first times after I got sober, we went to see Mothers Finest at a small local music venue…

Since I wasn’t drinking, I was having Red Bulls on ice.

After about 7 in about 1-1/2 hours the bartender cut me off !😆

He said “you won’t sleep for 3 days”.

I was drinking alcoholicly (sp) , and I wasn’t even drinking alcohol…

Also a surprising number of calories a can of that stuff.

Combine caffeine and calories and he has a valid point.

@Horse Newbie I had a funny experience with RedBull back 25 years ago. They were a fairly new thing about then. I was an Assistant Scout Leader, but was acting Leader for the weekend. We were camping in the City Park and putting on Scout Craft displays and activities for the public. All went well Saturday and had all the boys in their tents before midnight and most of them asleep. I went to bed and was awakened about 4am by a flashlight in my face attached to a City Police Officer. Seems he picked up a young 12 year old boy in a scout uniform wandering the streets about a mile from the park.  This boy was wound up, bouncing off the walls. After some questioning the officer and I learned, he wasn’t on drugs, but he couldn’t go to sleep so he shot a 4 pack of Red Bull one after the other.  Then he really couldn’t go to sleep so he went for a walk, barefoot and no flashlight or anything with him. By shot, he would  open the can, turn it upside down and while sucking on it pop a hole in the top end with a can opener and chug it down. I made him stand outside my tent for the rest of the night and I went back to bed. The next morning he was asleep in a crumpled heap. We helped him to his cot and he slept most of the day.  When his parents picked him up, I learned the officer had called them and told them his story. That poor boy learned he wasn’t to old for his dads board of education. He went on to earn his Eagle Scout Award and is a fine young man today.

I bet he was trying to get a “ Red Bull “ buzz, but maybe not…

At least it wasn’t alcohol…

I don’t want people to know all the stunts I pulled…

That was prolly 20 years ago…

my bladder was a lot more resilient back then.

Now a mug of coffee means 2-3 trips…

Take a closer look at the trailer. It appears to me it has an axle from a truck. There is only (1) person I know in MI who would fabricate such a beast.

I have no problem with that Bill.

Seniors & Panzers had them.

What gets my goat is Pullstart left the key in the ignition...:laughing-rolling:

Thankful no serious harm and lessons taken to heart. My wife and I worked for years with teens. The vast majority seem to have done well and I’m especially proud to still have some of them as friends.

These days, the parent might be threatening a lawsuit for not keeping a 24 hour watch on the kid. :(
