Ed Kennell 38,150 #1 Posted November 6, 2023 For sale on MP for $50. Extension for a swept axle?
Handy Don 12,214 #2 Posted November 6, 2023 Why? Agree the swept axle is likely. IMHO, WH did the extension because the problem could be solved by throwing a few parts at an existing product. not because it was the best design.
Dakota8338 115 #3 Posted November 6, 2023 Its a dirt blade, "Dozer Blade" for a Wheel Horse/ It can swivel 45 degrees to either the right or left. The slightly curved handle in the foreground is the handle which controle the setting to straight of angled position of the blade and the black bar behind the handle is what I believe should actually lock the blade in one of the three positions. The handle should stand upright where the shot bracket is on the right side of the blades frame. The litle triangular point in front of the handles attachment operated the rod which locks the blade in the desired position. I own a blade exactly like the one shown, although mine had the handle and rod in their normal working position. Even if one had to provide a little TLC, that blade is a bottom dollar, basement bargain for 50 bucks. 2

Make it work. The trade off is now it's damaged goods and best used for a 520 swept forward axle tractor. But not like it can't be put back though. Sumtin some backyard hammer mechanic would do !! LOL Smoke'n deal for $50

JoeM 7,873 #10 Posted November 6, 2023 Hey @Ed Kennell I got one just like it, them two guys had 94% same DNA. The rod was spliced too. I added the loop to hold the rod when not connected to the handle. 7 1

edgro 677 #17 Posted November 6, 2023 I put skids on my 4 foot blade. Found a set of front wheel weights, and they will not work now. So maybe an extension like this would give me enough clearance for weights
