A therapist would be happy to hear that!

I’ve learned that I’m inertial--I’ll happily work a project until something stops me and then it can be hard for me to restart.

people that can do ONE project and bring it to completion before starting another.

No not me either. When I run into one that needs $$$$ or a skill I lack I have a tendency to push it to a back burner.

Except for if Cindy is involved... then I get a 🔥 lit under my a$$ to giterdone...

I'm using that one the next time the honeydoo list is activated...

"But I'm inertial honey. I can't stop this to do what you want because if I do, it will always be in your way"....

Horse Newbie

I do better on projects that must get done without stoppage…

like for instance the garage door I just put up.

Other things like “ another “ Wheel Horse, I can take a break, but then when I get back on it, I tend to push on through…

I feel certain that there is a clinical name for this. Of course mine would be hyphenated with several other issues...  I won't call it a disorder, because it's quite frankly alot of fun!

But it's nice to know I'm not alone!

Interesting. Can having a “disorder” also be fun?

You are definitely not alone.:)

Yes.

A Haiku... perhaps, to explain:

Wheel Horse disorder

Why would you stop at just one

That is crazy talk

Well I got the basic dissasembly done today. Majority of the hard to find stuff is good. Fuel tank, lower steering, front axle, and footrests.

The drive belt guard is a mess. It's all there, but looks like someone just ripped the last bolt off when the couldn't remove it. There are two distinct creases (traced with a sharpie) in the main flat, and a bend in the corner of the top where the two top screws attach. I am not good at sheetmetal work, but it's much better than it was. Maybe tomorrow I'll get it to a decent shape.

And every nut on the tranny is rusted so bad that I guess I'll have to drill the bolt head and drive them out. The hitch pin is gonna be a bear. I cut it off flush and drilled a hole to center the punch so it won't swedge the end. It is really stuck!

I was surprised to see the tranny mount plate isn't cracked. Seems for every good thing I find, there are several bad!

Oh well, it's on its way.
