Pullstart 62,900 #1 Posted October 31, 2023 We’ve got a pretty decent handful of nut roasters here. 5 Suburbans and 3 RJ58s of various conditions. Of you who have one or more of each, what is your preferred model and why? I’m considering thinning the numbers a bit and am having a hard time which one(s) should go.
D_Mac 8,619 #2 Posted October 31, 2023 Can't help you... I have had a lot of Wheel Horses but none of those two models. Being that I am 6'5" 290 lbs I wouldn't think I would be to comfortable. I did own a Lawn Ranger, are they smaller or roughly the same size ?

wallfish 17,000 #4 Posted October 31, 2023 Well, I've had'em both over many years. The steering on the suburbans is much better but RJs are just old school cool. My favorite for some reason was that rusty crusty 401 I used to drive at all the shows. I gave it to my father since he wanted to try a small one and that thing could win a one pull start contest 10 out of 10 times My advice would be to let go of some and keep one of each as a plan but that doesn't mean the plan don't change. 1
The Freightliner Guy 1,327 #5 Posted October 31, 2023 (edited) I like the rjs but I know the Burbans are the improved version I’d love to have either tho id love to own one of your roundys but your very very very far from me Edited October 31, 2023 by The Freightliner Guy
WHX?? 48,820 #6 Posted October 31, 2023 (edited) That's a tough nut to crack Kev. First thought is to let go of the 'Burbs but then again... it's like cutting off a thumb to save a toe. My recent theory is if it doesn't come out to play or work on a regular basis time to go. Don't ask me how well that is workin... Came up with a new theory tho ... sell them to @Achto for little to nothing... he has to stall them but most often I still get seat time!... ML3 1,204 #9 Posted October 31, 2023 Have a 58 & 59 RJ along with a 60 Suburban. I really can't decide which model would be my favorite...... I pretty much like any "round hood" model.
