MarshDuck 74 #1 Posted October 30, 2023 I'm a 12 year old who started collecting some wheel horses in the last 6 months. Currently I own an A-81 and a 414-8. The 414-8 is running very well and the A-81 is currently not running. I have a mower for each but have not mowed with the 414-8 yet. I will attach some pictures below 9

953 nut 55,195 #5 Posted October 30, 2023 The Peerless 700 transmission was used in a lot of lawn tractors/lawn mowers. You may be able to locate one at a mower dealer that has a scrap yard. This manual may be helpful to you. 2

I'm not needing any traction to drag race. The show in this case is all in having those tires spin hard and fast 3

MarshDuck 74 #16 Posted October 31, 2023 The transmission case was cracked and missing a bushing, repaired it with some J.B weld and bought a new bushing. Worked for 3 months and then the J.B weld failed and I have not tried to fix it since. In the picture if you look to the left on the drive shaft you can kinda see the open space where it cracked. 2

rmaynard 15,436 #25 Posted October 31, 2023 I've got a good memory for faces, but trouble with putting names with them. What part of PA are you from? You look like someone who stopped by my location at the WHCC show last June.
