Help me design a golf cart paint scheme

Recommended Posts

RandyLittrell

So I bought an old golf cart this summer called a GolfKart.

I was build by Midwest industries in the early to mid seventy best I can figure out. It is a Model # 72 and has a Kohler K181 and a comet CVT trans. No reverse. I have found ads from 73 to 75 online and that is about it.

I am thinking about painting it WH red and getting some graphics made by Redo your Horse.

I have thought about a stripe similar to the Raider since it is in the same age range and need to come up with a name.

GolfHorse G-80 or Fairway G-80 by wheel horse. I don't know, just something that would look like wheelhorse built a golfcart in the early 70's

What do you guys think, I know there is more creative minds than I here!!!

How about a Woodgrain decal like the 69 Charger.  Wrap the woodgrain decal al the way around the box.

Then the it needs a similar decal across the front and that tapers to a point as it goes down the side.

The front decal could have faux lights and the center of it have a horse emblem

"Wheel Horse Putt-a-Long Jr."

Wheel Horse logo with a golf ball for the wheel hub cap.

I have a 1277 and it's the best looking Horse to me, so this idea would be good!!

Thanks!

Love the name, but I am not really a fan of hub caps though.

Thanks!

Sorry, I meant on the logo itself... put a golf ball in the center of the wheel on the wheel horse logo... not an actual hub cap...

That is just the mower and it has been a good one. There is a 784 with dual hydraulics in there too, with another half dozen out back!!

Truth is, I love all things mechanical!!

I love my Cubs as much as my Horses, but it is this site that makes me want to have Horses, just super nice people!!

I just use the Cub sites for referance!
