I ruined the original seat on the C-165 that way. And it's real tough trying to find an original OEM seat these days. JCM 9,168 #19 Posted October 16, 2023 The same seat came on my 312 when new but was a high back type with the same design on the cover . those were used in 1988-9. I believe the mid back was on the 310. Other holes close enough it was very easy to make an "adaptor" out of some bits of steel I had laying around. https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/black-talon-high-back-steel-pan-seat Quality seems good and it is designed to drain to two holes in the rear of the seat near center. I would buy this again if I needed another. The only problem I had was getting in there while they actually had one in stock.
