Achto 27,565 #10 Posted October 14, 2023 (edited) Great find!!! Wish we were allowed to pull things out of the scrap iron pile at our drop off site. I had to drool over to complete 's at our drop off site once. Couldn't touch them cause they were already on the ground. moe1965 737 #17 Posted October 15, 2023 That's 100 times better then the home made one I keep dragging around the yard and I'm still not ready to scrape mine I haven't found a good replacement yet. Nice score
kpinnc 12,007 #18 Posted October 15, 2023 Our landfill doesn't allow anything brought in to be removed. Scrap yard will, but at the retail cost of scrap so they always make money. Once saw a nice 314-H at the dump. Asked the guy why he trashed it, and he said he put a screwdriver in the spark plug hole and it didn't move when rotating the flywheel. When I told him that Kohlers had the spark plug over the valves instead of the cylinder, he said I didn't know what I was talking about. He also refused to just let me take it before he weighed in. As you found with your trailer find- people are bleeping stupid! Glad you saved it!
