Pullstart 62,867 #1 Posted October 6, 2023 Anyone watch this show? Tony Angelo is a hot rod genius! The unneeded flywheel and clutch in this episode is being sent to us for Rylee’s truck project!

ri702bill 8,319 #3 Posted October 6, 2023 @Pullstart So, that is what he's up to after leaving "Hot Rod Garage" - Lucky Costa and Alex Taylor do a fine job on the old show. Is it me, or do both you and Tony resemble a pair of bookends......!! 2

ACman 7,618 #5 Posted October 7, 2023 I sure do watch his YouTube channel and this build got me thinking. I have a rust free 98 2wd 2 door s15 jimmy that had a bad engine . I picked up a really nice 4.3 from my local u-pull-n-save (I actually went into the cars waiting to be processed and started it up) for seventy dollars . Ironically I pulled the motor out of a AWD Astro van and knew I should have gotten the whole drivetrain but that was 13 years ago . So I’m thinking about doing the same with my engine and just adding a posi and Caltracs for traction. Sure would be a fun ride even if it’s only 2wd . Been looking for a good big block to build too (genlV 454 truck) if anyone wants to do some horse trading . 1
Pullstart 62,867 #6 Posted January 15 I popped this clutch together today, on the 5 speed. In the video, he mentioned it was a 4.3L in a Jeep. I really hoped after watching it again, and receiving the clutch, that it would indeed fit the Chevy transmission. Yes, it popped right together!
