RedWheelz 149 #1 Posted September 25, 2023 I was wanting somewhere to store a few tools and came up with this. Just poked a few holes and riveted it on. Perfect for hammer, tape measure, screwdrivers, pliers, just a few basic tools. Anybody else have a tool holder on their rig? 10

Moparfanforever 847 #3 Posted September 25, 2023 No tool holder on any of my tractors yet, but that may change after seeing your pics !!! I have thought about mounting an ammo box somewhere, but hasn't happened yet.
ebinmaine 67,531 #4 Posted September 25, 2023 Excellent! I've been known to drop a thing or 17 in a regular yard trailer for hauling out to the forest. Nothing quite this intelligent and thoughtful. 🤪

Screwed right to the fender, that should get a few guys fired up 6 3

I've been doing that, and next time I'm going to try something... I often have 2-3 chainsaws, chainsaw field tool kit, weed whacker with chain saw and saw blade attachments, cans of fuel and chain oil, gloves, goggles, hard hat, branch loppers, maybe my telescoping pruning tool, and other miscellaneous stuff in my trailer, all slopping around. We used to have horses, and I have several of these plastic feed bins that would normally hang off a 2 x 4 in the barn, that fit nicely on the lip of the trailer. I'm thinking about attaching several of them more permanently to the lip of the trailer for the smaller stuff. Might need to make some kind of flip-over covers so stuff doesn't bounce out. But I have also been toying with attaching a tool box to my GT-1848, just haven't decided where or how yet.
Retired Wrencher 5,459 #9 Posted September 26, 2023 Luckily the old Start/gen tractors have one built in under the seat fender. 2
953 nut 55,260 #10 Posted September 26, 2023 The slip over seat cover that is on my 310-8 has a net storage bag built into the back of it. I keep a hitch pin, pruning shears, channel-locks, screwdrivers, gloves, safety glasses and other goodies in it. Looks like the one below.
peter lena 8,631 #11 Posted September 26, 2023 @RedWheelz like the idea , it would have to be closable , for me , once you loose something on a lawn set up , might not ever see it again , been there, Pete
