Do you have plans for a belt guard or a way to stop the belt while shifting?  Looks like fun, but don’t break your transmission

Any change for the trans pulley too? Going smaller for it will speed it up even more.

 

You can substitute the belt support of the belt guard with some small steel rods attached to the engine to achieve the smooth clutching action.

It has a 6 on the front and 4 on the back

With the axle inverted, I’m sure hoping that you have more than a “C”-clip securing those front wheel spindles into the axle.

Other members have drilled and tapped a hole in the end of the spindle for a bolt/washer (with blue Loctite) as a backstop to the C-clip!?

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT TRUST THOSE C CLIPS FOR HOLDING THE SPINDLES IF THAT'S ALL YOU HAVE HOLDING THEM ON THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't stress that fact enough. It would save some pain to just go to the dentist's office and knock your teeth out there in the parking lot with a hammer so you can get treatment quicker.

Yeah we drilled it and we have the biggest cotter pins you can have and there holding in there
