Moparfanforever 844 #1 Posted September 19, 2023 First, the leaves start to change, so I get Bagger Horse out to take care of the fallen leaves. Then, there is a chance we will see the white stuff, snow ❄️!!! Don't hate!! So out comes Snow Horse , and it is Beastly !!! It will push ten inches of heavy wet snow without breaking a sweat. The rear tires are some old Duro six ply that I have had forever, and they are heavy without fluid, but these are fluid filled. Eighty lbs of lead in the tool box. Cub weights on the inside of the wheels, seventy lb weights of some kind on the outside, and my 225 sitting on it. Four foot blade and easily as it pushes snow ❄️, it could be wider. But not pushing my luck. SNOW,SNOW SNOW SNOW ❄️, don't shoot the messenger !!!!! Thanks !!!! 1
Moparfanforever 844 #2 Posted September 19, 2023 And I really need to gather some parts to convert Snow Horse to hydraulic lift. The manual lift gets heavy and wears your arm out as you age.

Oh, and a foot pedal motion control and a heated cab. 2

Heated cab would be sweet !! It only takes 30 minutes to put on all my winter clothes to blade snow, may have to live with that.

WHGuy413 2,683 #14 Posted September 21, 2023 Just said to @WheelHorse_Kid that we needed to start thinking about what tractors will be out winter workers. Hate that that’s already on my mind. But thankful both boys enjoy plowing snow.

Had the the engine been replaced at some point? Yes it has been replaced. I think the valve seats were loose in the old Briggs so I bought a low hour Craftsman and swapped engines. There is something different on the "fan" that bolts to the flywheel to where grass/leaves doesn't stick to the blower screen as bad as the original WH setup.

Any idea what Craftsman mowers have those engines? I may be looking for one. Thanks.
Moparfanforever 844 #19 Posted September 21, 2023 Not sure on what year they are, but the front is squared off. The whole front end looks like a box. I will see if I can find a picture on the internet.
