Nice!  Is there a back story?

This machine was my first real introduction to wheel horse. My father in law had basically given it to me 15+ years ago. We lived next door on a piece of the families property the my wife and I acquired her parents. We were young and in a hurry to put a house on the property, so we went with what we thought was going to be a good investment, a prefab home. That was Not a good investment and not one of my Best decisions in life. The house was riddled with issues ( typical prefab problems ) along with other financial woahs So instead of keeping it we let it go back to the bank, the mower got left behind at my father in laws. It was a tough pill to swallow. That has been four years now almost to the month. I was selling the 520 and my father in law bought that machine from me and brought over the 416. More then a back story then you probably wanted to hear lol 😆 and I had to be vulnerable about it because it well... Is a bit embarrassing, but this has been my life ups, downs and everything in between. I know the 416 won't look as pretty as the 520 I had but it is more of a example of what my Life has been. Thanks Pullstart and ebinmaine ☺️

Sparky

New seat and get the mechanicals straight is all it needs right now.

Worry about paint and decals down the road.
Good luck with it :handgestures-thumbupright:

Spray penetrating oil on all fasteners whenever you walk past it, this is especially needed on ALL of the Onan fasteners.  Ask me how I know.

That's excellent advice.

I would also add that you should try to TIGHTEN every bolt before you loosen it. Just a tiny bit.
