Need Suggestions

I’m a new proud owner of a 1985 310-8.Does anyone have suggestions on replacing the old seat? I’d like to keep it as close to possible as the original. Also need oil and air filters and mower deck blades.   Thanks, Keith.

You won't find an oil filter on this model.

Here is a parts list and more. Click on the fuzzy picture. Keep in mind the parts list covers more than one engine model but often fails to identify what fits what. That is where Red Square support comes into play.

I have a 1987 WH 414-8 that I replaced the seat on this passed winter. I waited until I found a seat at Tractor Supply on sale for $75 off. I bought a seat that is adjustable  and it was only around $90.00 shipped to the local store. Rural King and Tractor Supply stock some decent seats that will match your bolt pattern, you just need to decide which one you like. You might find a nice used one but they don't show up often.   @Keith Rice  Living in Topsfield you must be familiar with Maestranzi Bros in Beverly. They should possibly stock those parts for your 310-8 or will get them for you. I have a real nice original seat that came on the 88 and 89 model. Put up some pictures of the seat and type of mount you have if you could. Even pics of the tractor.

Contact Lincoln at A to Z Tractor to see what he has for you,  https://www.a-ztractor.com/.  He has good used parts and new replacement parts.   Seats, air filters and mower deck blades can all be found on  Be sure the blades are the correct size for your deck, there is quite a variety of decks that fit the 310.

Keep in mind many deck options fit your Horse.  Make sure you get the right blades for the deck width

Thanks, I have been to Maestranzi’s many years ago. I did  call them for a belt but it was no longer available. I ended up matching one up at a Napa store. Just trying to see if online or toro dealers were a better option.

I have had good results with the TSC green belts.   And they are returnable if they do not fit.
