I've spoken to the builder about the construction of these pole type buildings. The poles are in the ground 4+ feet and obviously quite strong... but... the walls are not. The vertical outer boards are supported by the horizontal purlins set outside the poles. Neither of those are meant to carry bunches of extra weight. That's the reasoning behind needing a roller on the floor, or hanging from the roof trusses. In my case I'd likely do the floor roller because of ease and keeping the weight off the structure.
