Greg Barnett 1 #1 Posted September 6, 2023 My Wheel Horse 208-4sb clutch/brake has a issue. After replacing the drive belt it goes into gear fine but when i push in the clutch/brake it continues to drive. I had to force it into neutral. The new belt is 92in.long which is what it calls for. All of the springs are in place. Its been three days and i could really use some help. Thanks, Greg

Check all of the belt brakes (rods or sheet metal that is placed near the belt). The belt brakes hold the shape of the belt so that it does not drag on the pulleys. The belt should rest on the belt brakes when the brake/clutch is pushed down.
