312H idler arm part #

Recommended Posts

itsjustourmail@gmail.com

Can anyone help me with the correct part number for 312H (31-12KE01) idler arm and corresponding bushing.  I can't seem to find the part on any part diagram.   I could just weld it up and grind it back down, but thought maybe I could find a good used one.

Thanks for any help!

@itsjustourmail@gmail.com  take advantage of @daveoman1966  opportunities notice  your / lever arm , bushing arm is lubrication . dry , AEROSOL PENETRATING OIL , BOTH SIDES , those idler pulleys are known to fail early , is it  rough in motion? every relation motion point can / should move easily . how low is your mower deck setting? higher , lets it vent and discharge better , pete

GOT IT...  This is the same lever as shown in your pic...  It is slightly worn...barely noticeable.  Will send with both brass bushings as shown here.  $45 Paypal as 'friends' ... + $5 to ship anywhere in USA.

Wow,  you guys are awesome.  I feel like an idiot that I didn't find the number on my own.  I must not have scrolled to the bottom of the page.

Thank you!

The ROUND bar of this 'idler arm' is 7" long.  Digital caliper sez it is 1/2" dia.

Bushings OD is 5/8"  (1/2" ID)  x 1/2" height.... it is 1" wide  x 1/4" thick

The FLAT bar of it is 5"  end-to-end.

PRICE CHANGE---  $40... SHIPPED.

I, for one, like to modify the bushings since you are going to redo the whole thing. I chuck them in the lathe and undercut a 1/8 wide groove about .010 deep in the middle of the shaft bore to make a recess to hold chassis grease - since these have no good access for relubrication. Pack them at assembly, One and done..........

Are you guys running a stepped bushing at both ends of the shaft?

Mine has wave washer, flat washer, and step bushing at pulley side and just an e clip at other. As per the parts viewer I looked at.
