Window conundrum

The window is now held perfectly plumb from inside, when it had started to bow inward and stay in that shape.

With luck it will still be able to flex a little and not over stress any other part of the frameset.

20160612_182838-1.jpg.41659f56d95ab85c8d852c19463bd9d6.jpgThis is a photo of the house windows as they were before we moved in.

You can see there are only three major units where the new one has five, and the side units run from top to bottom with no glazing bars or opening top lights.

With luck my strengthening struts have returned the new window to the same kind of strength as this one.

The wind she is a rising and we will get our first taste of how the upgrade performs.

Just had storm Debi which brought us some pretty strong winds.

The window performed absolutely as I had hoped it would, no movement and no adverse effects.

Thank you to everyone who chipped in with ideas and suggestions for the problem.
