Treepep 564 #1 Posted August 19, 2023 Well. This is my haul for the week. I have already made pudding and jam. My bride made fig and walnut pie. Open for suggestions. I made fig rolls with fig, water chestnut, beef liver, wrapped in prosciutto and pan fried. Tasty but not well received by my bride. 3

953 nut 55,266 #3 Posted August 20, 2023 Have you considered drying them? Dried figs are even sweeter than fresh and can be cut up and used instead of raisins, I love them. https://www.google.com/search?q=drying+figs+at+home&rlz=1C1JZAP_enUS981US981&oq=drying+figs&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqBwgFEAAYgAQyBggAEEUYOTIHCAEQABiABDIHCAIQABiABDIHCAMQABiABDIHCAQQABiABDIHCAUQABiABDIHCAYQABiABDIHCAcQABiABDIHCAgQABiABDIHCAkQABiABNIBCTIyMzkyajBqN6gCALACAA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-

Once I stop the birds, beetles, and wasps take them all out. I made and canned some tasty sweet/slightly spicy fig BBQ sauce. That only took care of 1/3. Drying sounds like a plan
