Pullstart 62,834 #1 Posted August 10, 2023 So Mrs. P works at the town’s water heater manufacturer, Bradford White. The old Chevy and the Snowmowtractor won first place in the show today! There were some very cool vehicles there today, including two monster trucks, various ages of cars and trucks and motorcycles. We were busy for most the day talking projects, seeing old friends, and such. What a sweet day! 12

Horse Newbie 7,068 #3 Posted August 10, 2023 That’s cool… now build me something so I can win a trophy. I believe the Snowmotractor was the clincher, even though people are nuts about old Chevys. 3
ri702bill 8,316 #4 Posted August 10, 2023 The way i see it, the old Chevy Truck is a Survivor... I am more impressed with the SnowTractor - it is a hand crafted one - of - one. Fabricated by a crew that "Survived" with a box of Band-Aids along the way.... 1

Honestly, there is always a "blood-letting" involved with most of our projects..... Edited August 10, 2023 by ri702bill 3

Got to let some of that old stale junk out and get some new blood in there circulating. Or maybe it's more like adding Seafoam or Marvel Mystery oil. I only think I feel better! LoL They used to have blood drive trucks in town and it was quick easy and simple to do. That was always a good "oil change" but they stopped doing that a long while ago. Not sure why??? 3

I’m sure the American Red Cross would have info on some place local to you that does regular drives. I too enjoy a regular oil change. If they only knew how much I ticker out of myself between appointments, they’d make me skip a few! 2
SylvanLakeWH 25,534 #9 Posted August 11, 2023 I see the Trophy went to Mrs. Pullstart... we got another BBT-like situation on our hands here...? You and @ebinmaine taken pictures and the Mrs's doin' all the work???
Pullstart 62,834 #10 Posted August 11, 2023 I missed quite a few cool machines by the time I was able to get around to snapping some footage! 2
Pullstart 62,834 #11 Posted August 11, 2023 I forgot the other swag that comes with the winnings! A JBL Bluetooth speaker, a Yeti tumbler and a Yeti cooler! 1
Pullstart 62,834 #12 Posted August 11, 2023 For anyone who has a witty eye, that trophy topper is a small water heater head/shell assembly. The spuds for water fittings are resistance welded under pressure and lots of electrical current.

Rylee and Jada do all the work and Kevin posts the pictures. 3 hours ago, Pullstart said: I was able to get around to snapping some footage! My vote would go Taylor's Stovebolt Hauler too though a close second would go to the '27 T Bucket for sure.

c-series don 8,688 #15 Posted August 11, 2023 I’m just wondering how Kevin got on the roof to take that picture?😂

Pullstart 62,834 #17 Posted August 11, 2023 @953 nut the ‘27 placed second, behind by 8 votes and I’m unsure of 3rd but it was just 1 vote difference between 2nd and 3rd.

Pullstart 62,834 #19 Posted August 14, 2023 We nabbed a few pictures from a company post. Of all the shows we’ve gone to, it’s always been for the enjoyment of being there, not looking for a prize. It’s still surreal to think so many people enjoyed our display more than others…

It has a full tilt front end, a whole bunch of tube cage work, etc. it’s quite the masterpiece.
