Gasaholic 224 #5 Posted August 10, 2023 (edited) Yup. what Ed said. I paid $500 for my C-100 non-running but pristine, and it had a brand new 36" Rear mower shell put on. I replaced battery box, cleaned the points, ran some Mechanic in a Bottle through the carb & gas lines, tubes in rear tires, and scraped/wire brushed rust off the pulleys where belts had sat (It sat in a barn for 30 years or so) and had a beautifully running C-100 with a solid working 36" rear deck.. After one mowing though it got too noisy, and I am currently waiting on time to pop the spindles off the deck and replace the 103119 bearings (It has a brand new blade set on it!) that deck alone, in my area I could probably get $500 or $600 in the shape it is in. (the 36" Rear was highly desirable for the guys that did graveyard mowing contracts.) Tractor also came with a clevis hitch and the rear half of a 7-1722 cultivator. However, if it had not had the deck (or the deck was roached out like so many I see these days) I would not have paid any more than $200, if that.
