bc.gold 3,403 #1 Posted August 5, 2023 The red wheel loader in the first video used to belong to me. I'll be keeping the White tractor and the Yamaha ride.
c-series don 8,707 #2 Posted August 5, 2023 That 955 looks to be in great shape for its age! I have one that belonged to my father in law that I’m trying to donate to the local antique tractor club. It’s not as nice as that one though!

Everyone wants a wheel loader, would have to list in the Freebie ads. it''ll be leaving on the next scrap load unless I find a buyer soon. Your machine probably tips the sale at 30,000 pounds

bc.gold 3,403 #8 Posted August 7, 2023 The track loader sold as a parts machine this morning to a fellow who has a sister machine which will now become a donor. The 955L I sold him has features his machine does not have.
bc.gold 3,403 #9 Posted August 7, 2023 (edited) As I mentioned earlier Danny has no friends, his cancer has progressed to stage four. In a confused state left the hospital returning home to his RV, as the days past his condition worsened. No one in the community visiting him recognized his physical or metal state. Danny called me asking if he could stay with me. I told him no but that I would discuss the situation with Pat, we made a home visit, Danny was coherent and we came by the next day to bring him over to her place. He must have had a stroke during the evening he was now unable to stand or walk on his own and his thought process now impaired. He did manage to communicate that he did not want to go back into the hospital, Pat and I both being old school can relate so we carried him over to his SUV as it was much lower and easier to access than Pat's Ram. During the short stay with Pat she learned, Danny at 64 years of age, never filed a tax return, no medical, no pension, owns multiple property's, twin sister in Ontario has been supporting him financially. He's at a different hospital they have him in palliative care. Anyhow the sister has power of attorney and a copy of Danny's last will and testament, as the executor of that will what she has yet to realize, she'll need to probate his will and the court will require a copy of his final tax return. If I was in her position would forfeit the property"s to the federal government who in the end will conclude with no proof of income, they were obtained through illicit proceeds anyhow. As I said not a friend of mine. Edited August 7, 2023 by bc.gold
Rick3478 428 #10 Posted August 8, 2023 Sorry to hear about his condition. Could happen to any of us. Never filed a tax return? In a way, that's impressive. Assuming there are legal deeds to the properties, I don't know where the burden of proof rests, if there's no record of taxable income. Hmmmm ... I'm not a lawyer, but know estates can be a PITA. Could end up a big Sheriff's auction. With luck maybe she'll get a cut as executor.

Could end up a big Sheriff's auction. With luck maybe she'll get a cut as executor. She's Danny's twin, very emotional plus she lives in Ontario several thousand miles distance from the action Some silly woman felt it necessary to visit Danny to inform him of the clean up, got the sisters number from Dan's phone and called the sister then put him on the phone. Sister very upset and contacted me, told her to put the nuisance visitor and a no visit list. This was done this morning, Val has been black listed as a visitor. The ulterior motive was Val wants Dan's shop to use as an animal shelter, told her good idea check with the town office to see if zoning would allow it. Shop is on main street anyhow I would not give her the sisters contact info so she took matters into her own hands.
bc.gold 3,403 #12 Posted August 8, 2023 This Ural with sidecar one of many vintage motorcycles stored in an old reefer van that one of Dan's buddies set ablaze. Best offer for the lot, $1000.00, told the guy I would not waste my time to pull them out and just send them as is along with the van as scrap, should have seen the look on his face - priceless. We all know the joy of restoring something old, the search for parts and such. Once I have the shop cleared I'll move the bikes inside, advertise and hold a benefit sale with the proceeds going to the thrift store or food bank -which ever one is able to give a tax deducible receipt to the sister works for me. Fortunately the fire department was able to contain the fire before the bikes were totally destroyed. 1

bc.gold 3,403 #17 Posted August 9, 2023 Whenever two hombres show up, keep an eye on your valuables wallet went missing from vehicle some cash, debit and credit to cancel. The one guy wants to purchase the White Cocksutt tomorrow. For the inconvenience I'll have the last laugh, the White goes for scrap. I have some decent honest help with a good atmosphere, not going to mention my loss. Besides a theft I had a rewarding day, the fellow who purchased the burnt motorcycles started collecting Harley Davidson's years ago storing them in C-cans for a very lucky grandson when he comes of age. He sold 45 Harley's bought his small hobby farm for cash and still has 70 HD's left. The German Maico is missing from the photo line up, neat bike decked out for ice racing. Studded tires front and rear.

No its not, this was a video the buyer sent me of his 955 ( K ) the one he bought from the clean up is an ( L ). I posted further up in this thread, he is going to use the (K) as a donor to keep the (L) as his main squeeze. The old boy knows how to run a machine, got the loader moved into a better position for loading using the bucket curl.

bc.gold 3,403 #21 Posted August 10, 2023 Yesterday wallet stolen from car, the real issue making the late evening calls to cancel my cards; Each 24 hour service number transfers incoming calls round robin to work at home representatives, if a robin fails to pick up you get to listen to elevator music with periodic interruptions of your call is important to us your will be answered by the next available representative or please leave a call back number. In layman's terms, the next person still awake or not busy changing a diaper. If I had a mobile phone I would not have to write this This morning mission accomplished, both reps I spoke with were both very pleasant with an easy to bring about laugh, the credit card gal was able to perform a cancel and reissue while my debit card gal was only able to cancel my card telling me but still had to call my branch for a reissue. I live in central Canada, use a voip number the call centres recognize my west coast phone number along with the time zone this is especially problematic if I have to call one of the government agencies all of which are based in the east. I love technology but not when its used against us.

I think the sister may abandon her brothers request to administer his will. The small prairie towns are struggling to survive last year the rural RM;s had to amalgamate with another to have enough tax revenue to carry out the necessary essential services. As most here know I paid 5,000.00 for the house in Strathclaire last summer. Below the house on large lot I purchased, Danny's Erickson house is a tear down as it was condemned several years ago an this is why he was living in the RV parked o the lot. Pat and I both retire love living here in Manitoba, the odd combine during harvest is about all we see or hear on the highway.
