1988HorseLover 0 #1 Posted August 2, 2023 Hey guys, I'm having a terrible time figuring out what the problem is here. Obviously a linkage broke when I throttle the PTO on the blade does nothing. I've tried rigging as you can see and it works but I make two passes and it smells like the belt is on fire. Does anyone know what part is missing here? Any help, greatly appreciated!
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,041 #2 Posted August 3, 2023 I don't see a problem. Make sure the pulley bearings are smooth and quiet. Here is the parts list for the front idler assembly. https://www.partstree.com/models/05-48ms05-toro-48-side-discharge-mower-deck-1987/rear-discharge-mower-36-in-92-cm-vehicle-identification-number-05-36mr04-2/
c-series don 8,690 #3 Posted August 3, 2023 What is that long threaded bolt on the mule drive? Is this running a 60” deck?

Can you post a closer picture of the fix you made? Is this a 60" deck with the spring loaded mule drive belt tensioner?
