@Brockport Bill   just checked , both of those  / either bearing has the wide rubber side shields , perfect opportunity to do a carefull seal removal , clean out and repack with a hi temp grease , like a 550 + deg polyurea  grease , it will not fail like the grease that  was installed in there . only a suggestion , also do the same grease upgrade in the muel drive bearings , and inner needle bearing in the pto drive cone , imagine no bearing whine , solid smooth operation . only a suggestion , pete

109966 is 6203RSJ

106085 I cannot cross. Need dimensions. Possibly a 6203-12-2RS 3/4" ID X 40MM OD X 12MM Wide

Posted this in the past and do not recall how I figured it out

The earlier decks used spindles with an odd 6203 bearing with a 3/4" ID x 40mm OD x 12mm deep. Bearing numbers 106084 and 106085. The number of seals being the difference.

@Brockport Bill  my reference to those bearings , whas what you found, the opportunity to easily remove a wide rubber side shield , on ANY  bearing , clean out  / carb cleaner flush , repack to same ammount , with a hi temp , polyurea  grease , will make a chronic problem go away . I  use a very small  putty knife or a small fine flat pocket screwdriver . every related  pto driven pulley bearing , spins with ease , ever wonder why  so many are replacing pto  belt clutches ?  have not replaced any of mine , a belt driven attatchment should be able to  turn over easily , by hand ,between pto / muel drive area . all of mine do , no screaming clutch / bearing whine , quiet smooth solid . this is not , in the book , but if you are right at a chronic problem spot , why not make it go away ? pay attention to operational function / ease/ effort / change / improve , if you want to . repedative failure is showing you the way , take advantage of it , pete

@Brockport Bill  thank you  bill,!  just a chronic problem that I TOOK APART IN DETAILING IMPROVEMENTS , those seal covers are the type that I look for in every bearing if possble , typical lubricant , will not stand up to heat or angular stress . ANY NOISY BEARING IS TELLING YOU  THAT , having been using that lucas green grease now for years , consistantly quiet / smooth . like to take things apart and find the cause of the issue , impove on that, and detail it in on improved function . that pto lever improvement makes that work wiith toral ease .  good talking , thanks , pete
