Yes, sold back in the late 1960's. The model was the Safari, as I recall. I also recall that they were actually made by AMF, sold under the WH name.

Very interesting.  Runs, needs a battery but its a pullstart I guess as well.  Nephew asked if I was interested...  I said ya need snow to even justify that.  We don't see that here:D

Given the fact that it has a bogie wheel rear suspension. You could put wheels on the front and run it around with out snow. :twocents-twocents:

On the other hand, I've owned a few snowmobiles in my day. Sold them when we quit getting decent snow. Ain't missed 'em since. :)

Pullstart

I can’t see the picture, but I’m guessing we’re talking about a safari?  That’s one Wheel Horse that might never be on my bucket list…

Pullstart

I feel I must clarify.  If one were given to me, I’d cherish it!

They were not a good performer but then most were were rather crude back then.  It would be good for a collection only.  Here is the photo in question:

Seems to me that the hood would look pretty cool on, let's say, maybe a dump truck build? @JPWH :music-rockon:

Think they had Kohler 2 stroke engines. That would be a cool engine for a custom build tractor but I wouldn't tear up a vintage Safari that was still savable to do it.

That front fiberglass bumper car look could work nice for a truck/UTV type of WH build too.

That hood is too nice for me to be cutting up. But it would look cool.
