peter lena 8,627 #1 Posted July 29, 2023 @davem1111 , been thru a lot of phases to body ache , boat seat foam , is very firm , its also a life saver , have a 15" square 1 ,1/2 " thick , hard back chair , foam pad on your lower back , with a large frozen gel pad up against your pain point , that is a aregular for me , breaks the pain cycle , and lets me expore movement gain . with the gains made in movement therapy , its let me gain on my issue . just a suggestion , pete 3
peter lena 8,627 #2 Posted July 29, 2023 @Treepep , @ebinmaine had both of my knees done years ago , therapy is vital on a restart , could not kneel on a hard serface , till I found boat seat foam pieces in a bin at a marine boat shop . odd shapes thicknesses . but I could kneel on them easily . great for the kneeling leg muscle pull stretch , that helps your back . showed it to the therapist , he loved it , said it was the perfect push back resistance to a joint. pete

Mickwhitt 4,624 #5 Posted August 4, 2023 I use an acupressure pad for back pain. It's a thin mat with plastic spikes on its surface. You lay on it bare skin to the spikes. It hurts like hell for a few minutes until you get used to it. But it soon feels pretty dull. The idea is it increases blood flow to the painful area and encourages healing. Works for me.
peter lena 8,627 #6 Posted August 6, 2023 @Mickwhitt yes when you wake up / siimulate a body area , thats the time to take advantage of that . theripest I was working with , would regularly add / change movement range to a gain , or easement . did a lot of flat rubber pull straps , in the knee area / ankle area , to side step , and slow walk foward / backward , to enhce hip areas and upper leg muscles . have a definete gain in movement , from where I was . pete
