Hello all,

 

Fairly new to the community. I have a Charger 12 and I have no idea what year it is. Also I have some things I want to get rid of but don’t know what it’s worth. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The snowthrower is a 1968 model.

If the thrower is a 68 then the tractor is too probably. The guy bought everything together new. I'm the second owner. Thanks! Good info here.

  looks like a 953 or 1054 in the background and an RJ58 in the foreground.  Both are awesome machines in their own way.  What!s the reason to get rid of them?  Do they run?

Thanks fellas! Charger and RJ are staying, they run great! I cut the grass with the Charger. The 953 is awesome but I have another project in mind so I am looking to get rid of the 953 and all of the extra stuff I don't use. The snow thrower is darn new I almost hate to part it from the tractor it was bough with but I just don't use it.

That 953, was a punch right in the face to JD and CC back in ‘63.  Live hydraulic lift, big tires and high ground clearance, more fuel capacity and WAY more weight than anything comparably sized with a Big Block Kohler Baby!

Yes sir! 14hp Kohler in it and the lift works. If I can get rid of all the accessories I have I will keep it. So that being said what are these snow throwers, blades, and plows worth?

Nice!  Honestly, time of year and demand always dictates value.  It seems snowblowers are not needed much any more, until they are.  I’d say a fair price on a thrower starts around $100.  Fall time or winter, maybe $200.  Decks always depend on the condition of the shell, spindles, etc.  if they spin quiet and tight, and the shells are in good shape with no cracks or rust holes, $250 and up.  Plows, about $125+.  Some results may differ

Thanks! I'm pretty pumped to get to working on these things. The K91 on my RJ is incredible I wish I knew who rebuilt it because I would shake their hand. First pull every time.
