That same summer I was at Steam-O-Rama and a call came over the PA system for an epi-pen, it was a sad day because I couldn't help and the patient didn't make it. ineedanother 1,369 #29 Posted July 23, 2023 Just saw this. Scary! Glad you're on the mend. Along with the epi, always keep benadryl on hand. It blocks the histamine release caused by the venom and while not as fast-acting as the epi, it really helps with the after effects. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
