Pullstart 62,834 #1 Posted July 20, 2023 Mrs. P and I just got back from an epic week! We panned 2.2 grains of gold, took a train to Canada, saw whales, caught salmon, gained some weight and had a blast! We flew in to Anchorage, took a ride to Seward, and cruised down to Vancouver on the Norwegian Spirit. We are glad to be home and have tons of pictures and videos to go through! The girls flew by themselves to see their “older sister” in Germany and will be home tomorrow with their own stories to tell. Here’s a couple of my favorites, and or new friend Alex 17
Pullstart 62,834 #3 Posted July 20, 2023 The panoramic picture above, it’s Summit Lake northeast of Skagway. It’s near the US/Canada border and has two main inlets. Snow melt runs clear/blue water and glacial melt runs murky/green. It meets in the middle. While we were there, we heard it was the second warmest day on record in Alaska. Just weeks ago, there was walkable ice on Summit Lake still.
