pfrederi 17,912 #2 Posted July 18, 2023 Welcome. The leak may be a result of the axle needle bearing failing. Jack her up and see if there is any up/down front/rear movement in the wheel hub assembly. If so need to replace the axle bearing. 1/8" or so of in/out movement is OK
Ferris 1 #3 Posted July 18, 2023 Thank You How hard Is To change the bearing and seal anyone have video of this Do I have To split / Tare it apart
stevasaurus 22,884 #4 Posted July 18, 2023 You did not say anything was leaking ?? The seal can be changed with out removing or open the transmission. A bearing change requires dropping and opening the trans. It is not a hard job to do, but can be a little labor intensive. I would look at the hubs to see if they are rubbing on the trans housing. Check the drive belt and pullies under the belt guard. Then check axle movement like Paul stated. Oh...and check fluid level.
